Our desire for Third Day Farm has always been to be a farm that produces pasture-raised meat ethically and sustainably. We value faith, family, and honesty and look to be a reliable and trusted source for ethically-raised meat.

We also have a desire for Third Day Farm to be a destination for people to unwind and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the property that sets back off a quarter-mile lane. We invite you to leave the hustle and bustle of your daily life to enjoy God's creation and recharge during your time away.   

Whether you lead a busy life in the city, you're visiting the midwest for an event, or planning a quaint getaway with family ... we hope that you will be able to rest and experience the simple life while you enjoy your stay at the farm.  

We can't wait for you to join us at either of our short-term stays!

• Third Day Farm is a real, live working farm. This means you will be driving on some dirt driveways or paths to get there. You may enjoy the view of cows and sheep within sight from your window. Our farm staff will be coming and going from the property and they are caring for the livestock. Although we do our best to make your stay is free of any "uninvited guests" (ie. bugs - who are trying to enjoy life in the countryside, just like you) it is sometimes inevitable on a farm. 
• Experience farm-to-table meat and eggs.  We'd love for you to enjoy a farm-to-table meal with our pasture-raised meat and eggs.  Those who have booked a stay will receive a 15% off coupon code to use on our products during the length of their stay.  Our small roadside Farm Store is open from 8:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Saturdays and closed on Sundays.  You can also place an order on our website during your stay with us. 
• Amenities and Wifi. Third Day Farm Getaway does have a television and WIFI. We know that you will find it a space to rest from the hustle and bustle by curling up with a good book and coffee (Keurig and k-cups provided), play a game of cards, ping pong, or air hockey. We also hope that you enjoy the beauty that is found in the simple life as you enjoy nature. 
• We ask that you respect our No Pet Policy during your stay at our on-farm accommodations. With livestock and guardian dogs on the property - this policy helps keep our farm running as usual without additional animals to monitor.
• There’s plenty to do in northern Indiana. You can stay busy in the area with some local attractions like Koontz Lake, Potato Creek State Park, Amish Acres, Notre Dame University, etc. that are all within 30 miles of Third Day Farm.  If you're looking for dining recommendations or activities neraby... we're happy to pass along our recommendations to you!
• Check In / Check Out: Check in is available between the hours of 3:00 pm and 10:00 pm.  Check out is at 11:00 am.

        Third Day Farm Getaway

This 4-bedroom house sits down a 1/2 mile lane where you will see animals grazing & hear crickets chirping on a starry evening. Sit on the back deck or have a campfire & soak in the peace & tranquility of a slower pace. Swan Lake Golf Course and Koontz Lake are two attractions within 10 minutes of your stay. Because it is a working farm, our farm hands will be on the property tending to the animals.

You will have this 4-bedroom home, with full basement all to your yourself . Enjoy the back yard with grill and fire pit. Wood for fire pit is included and available for use. 

Please Note: WiFi is spotty. Any barns and buildings on the property are for farm employees only.

Cabin by the Creek

This tiny house sets back along a creek on the farm property.  This one room cabin has 1 Queen bed and a loft with a Queen floor mattress.  This cabin would comfortably sleep 2 adults (+ 1-2 children in the loft). Enjoy the country sounds while sitting on the rockers on the porch or enjoy a meal on the beautiful deck that looks over the creek. Roast marshmallows or cook a meal over the fire pit.  Enjoy the beauty of nature with this little cabin by the creek.  Some additional amenities include: television, wi-fi (coming soon), mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and Keurig that can all be used during your stay.
